Lull Telehandlers
Ever since 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their equipment have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system provides a lot more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide a huge variety of optional attachments and these telehandlers can really help you accomplish your needs, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. If accuracy and precision are really important, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you need.
The Future
Numerous attachments have been engineered and made in order to make rough terrain forklifts as efficient as possible. Booms, winches and rotating fork carriages enable the forklift to position materials in a more precise manner. The booms or articulating booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures so as to place loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New attachments and products are being made and engineered all the time and would be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. For example, load-reach management devices could restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to know the load weight. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The memory of the boom would compare the extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is an important lock-up device or a warning system that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
