End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are well known in the material handling business for their great flexibility. These machinery have superior performance characteristics which are somewhat similar to sit-down electric lift truck units.
These forklift units are ideal for warehouse environments which have limited space. The space needed to operate these equipment are less than the three-wheel electric lift truck truck needs. These machines are an ideal alternative for applications that require frequent on and off access, since their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
The reach truck is a loading device used by various companies who maintain a storage facility which involves the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and supplies which are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent choice for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require for immediate use in a safe and efficient way.
The standard reach truck unit is outfitted with an out-rigging mechanism situated on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping tines which move down and up are mounted to the out-rigging. The blades also include a hydraulic setup that enables the driver to pick up the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not just offers a lot more balance to the overall load, but makes it really easy for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic blades swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Typically, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet across with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
