Genie and Terex Machine Safety
In order to ensure the safety of the operators of Genie or Terex machinery, there are some basic rules and guidelines which users could adhere to. Safety is a main concern and can usually be established through joint efforts of employees and employers.
Firstly, common sense is key. Safe work practices should be used all the time and if there is any hesitation about the safety of a job, the job should not be completed without consultation with your employer and with the work site safety guidelines. Following government, work site and employer regulations and standards will help increase worker safety. In addition, training should only be run by trained individuals, and the machines should never be operated by an individual or employee that does not have the correct training or credentials, if necessary. Any safety guidelines and the operators manual which are supplied with the machinery should always be available on the equipment. Every equipment operator must read, understand, and follow the directions and safety regulations provided in the operators instruction manual at all times.
Do not hesitate to contact a representative if you have any questions regarding your Genie or Terex forklift.
